Summary
Each human brain is unique, and there are infinite natural variations in the way we each process information. This course looks at the many forms that neurodiversity can take, and considers the impact that it can have on us in our daily lives and particularly when we are learning. The key characteristics of 6 common specific learning differences (SpLDs) are identified, and the frequent overlap between them noted. Experiential activities and social stories empower participants to raise awareness of these SpLDs in their communities after the course.
If you work with humans, live with humans, or know any humans, this course will help you to understand them better. If you are a human, you may begin to understand yourself better, too.
